Community Guidelines
Think Right exists so people can understand the news together. These guidelines keep the discussion channels a place worth coming back to.
Last updated: September 3, 2026
What we expect
- Argue in good faith. Disagree with the idea, not the person.
- Bring sources. If you make a factual claim, link to where it came from.
- Stay on the story. Keep each channel focused on the event it belongs to.
- Respect privacy. Never post someone's personal information.
- Be a real person. No impersonation, coordinated inauthentic behavior, or spam.
What is not allowed
- Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse.
- Hate speech or attacks based on protected characteristics.
- Content that promotes violence or illegal activity.
- Deliberate misinformation, manipulated media presented as real, or fabricated sources.
- Commercial spam, scams, and unsolicited solicitation.
How moderation works
Reports go to our moderation team and, for high-volume signals, to automated systems that flag content for human review. Depending on severity we may remove content, limit reach, restrict features, or suspend an account.
Appeals
If you believe a moderation decision was wrong, appeal through the Contact Us page with the subject “Moderation Appeal.” A different reviewer will look at it.
