Closed Caption Policy

This policy covers video and audio content that Think Right produces or distributes through the app and this website, including news clips, briefings, and audio summaries generated by the assistant.

• Accuracy: captions match the spoken words, including speaker changes and meaningful non-speech sounds.
• Synchronization: captions appear in time with the corresponding audio.
• Completeness: captions run from the beginning to the end of the program.
• Placement: captions do not obscure on-screen text, faces, or other essential visuals.

Some video is supplied by publishers and news partners. Where a partner provides captions, we pass them through unmodified. Where a partner supplies uncaptioned video, we either add machine-generated captions clearly labeled as automated or provide a text summary.

Automated speech recognition may misinterpret names, technical terms, or overlapping speech. Captions produced this way are labeled “auto-generated,” and we review reported errors.

Captions can be turned on by default in Settings → Accessibility. Where the platform allows, you can adjust caption size, font, color, and background opacity through your device accessibility settings.

Send us the story title, the time in the clip, and a short description of the issue through the Contact Us page with the subject “Caption Issue.” We acknowledge caption complaints within one business day and work to resolve them promptly. See also our Accessibility Statement.
